From our communal tables crafted from fallen red woods, to an upstairs fireside lounge, a chefs counter with a front row seat to the kitchen, and a lush living wall above the bar. Jay Bordeleau, the owner, creator, and mastermind behind Maven, has always had a knack for creativity and creation, and has constantly treasured the arts. Jays collaborative work style and his its-so-crazy-it-just-might-work ambition formalized while banging drums and crashing cymbals behind the orchestra during his tenure as a music performance major at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Jay was able combine his collaborative leadership style with a profound passion for hospitality while designing, building, and operating Maven Restaurant. He has built a team that truly believes in enthusiastic hospitality. Jays life-long passion for wine began during multiple harvests at Rhys Vineyards and was affirm by earning his title as Certified Sommelier and Advanced Wine Specialist from WSET. Diligent and always innovating, Jay also runs Mr. Tipples Recording Studio, a craft-cocktail bar offering live jazz every night.Read More
