Supplying both the formal and informal sectors in Zimbabwe through its sales depots in Harare, Bulawayo, Mutare and Masvingo, Matanuska Distribution (PVT) LTD has the capability of supplying all major cities in Zimbabwe with fresh produce. Our trade partner in Mozambique is Fruta de Ouro Limitada. Fruta de Ouro Lda is based in the central province of Mozambique and is developing banana production in joint ventures along with its own ripening and wholesale depot, located in Tete. Fruta de Ouro Lda supplies ripened bananas (Malaika brand), apples, citrus, potatoes and other main line fruit and vegetables to both the formal and informal markets. A joint venture, Frutimanica Limitada, currently has 40 ha of bananas and 30 ha of Litchis. Strategic partnerships in each of these countries allows efficient sourcing of product and quick distribution regionally. A short supply chain allows for competitive pricing in the market while maintaining high producer prices. Fruit d'Or Zambia (Pty) Ltd is our fruit wholesaler based out of the Copper Belt, in Kitwe. Currently our premises are on the outskirts of town, on the main high way leading through the copper belt.
