Massar Solutions PJSC (Massar) is incorporated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority (ADWEA). 1999Massar commences operations by providing exclusive fleet and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) related services to ADWEA. 2005Abu Dhabi Power Corporation (a wholly owned subsidiary of ADWEA and owner of 100% of Massar) sells 51% of its shares to Abu Dhabi Investment Company (Invest AD). 2006The remaining 49% shares of Massar are sold to Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA), a subsidiary of ADWEA. Massar begins providing its services on the open market and secures a major fleet-outsource contract with Abu Dhabi Municipality. 2008Massar acquires the franchise rights to operate the Payless Car Rental brand in the UAE. 2013Massar acquires the distributor rights for Arvento Mobile Tracking and Telematics products. 2014Massar establishes its Supply Chain Solutions division. The Company changed its legal name from Al Wathba Company for Central Services PJSC to Massar Solutions PJSC and rebranded from AWCCS to Massar.
