Owner Lauren Wood graduated from the Sarasota School of Massage Therapy in 1995 and has held a private practice, specializing in deep tissue work, ever since. She purchased Massage Market (the storefront was known as Tools for Life) in 2008 and moved the storefront to be closer to the Sarasota School of Massage in northern Sarasota/southern Manatee. Lauren has trained in Neuromuscular Therapies, energy work, Bamboo Fusion, and many other modalities. In addition to massage and the store, Lauren is a professional actor and singer and she appears frequently in the Tampa Bay area.
