At Maslows Light, we work to build alternative, capital markets based financial models designed to help solve and fund the worlds most challenging humanitarian crises. We aim to fulfill basic food, health, and safety needs of humans across the globe, so they are able to achieve their full potential in both developed and developing economies. While... we recognize the importance of the individual, we ultimately strive to change the system that oppresses them, through the repurposing of traditional Wall Street models and redistribution of global capital. Maslows Light is a certified 501(c)(3) dedicated to social justice. Since our founding by Jennifer Gibson in 2019, we have been determined to make an impact on the world by helping some of the most vulnerable populations. We work to bring our teams innovative ideas, and passion for the financial markets, to the humanitarian space. Through all of our endeavors we hope to empower individuals, businesses, and governments across the globe to build a future that provides hope, prosperity, opportunity, and freedom for all. Maslows Light is currently creating a global asset backed security/lending model that will focus on providing capital to entrepreneurial refugees and small/medium sized businesses, who commit to hiring, promoting, and training refugees, in host countries. Our refugee targeted lending model, designed to promote global entrepreneurship and economic growth, will incorporate public and private sector cooperation, and sustainable capital markets funding over time. Its intention is to change the story of human migration from one of economic drain to one of economic growth, prosperity and inclusion. Not only will this allow refugees to lead fuller lives, and provide governments with more sustainable resettlement paths, but it will potentially allow societies a decreased prevalence of prejudice, scapegoating, and genocides that have historically haunted generations on all sides of the issue.
