Mary's Dogs

Established in 2011 by Mary and John Doane, and later becoming a nonprofit organization in 2016, Marys Dogs: Rescues approximately 600 dogs annually from kill shelters in the south and rehomes dogs in New England. Nurtures the network of volunteers and foster and forever pet parents. Serves as a resource to communities in Southern New Hampshire and... pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition. Mary Doane started Marys Dogs Rescue & Adoption in February 2011 out of her passion to save animals and to foster the human/animal bond. She and the rescue were ably supported by her husband John, skillfully managing much of the business requirements. Many dogs and many families and everyone in the Marys Dogs organization are forever grateful to Mary for her creative energy, devotion and vision and to John for his organization and support of the Mary's Dogs rescue team.
