Marquee stud is located in the upper Hunter Valley in the rich and fertile Liverpool Plains. The property is 800 acres of magnificent undulating, well drained red basalt soil, with a blend of natural and sewn grasses throughout as well as 105 acres of lucern. The farm was initially established in 2008 and specialises in thoroughbred agistment and s... ales preparation. It is now managed by experienced horse persons, Garry & Denise Isaac who have over 15 years in the thoroughbred industry. The horses are provided with first-rate, safe facilities and the best nutrition available and the team at Marquee ensures the farm runs smoothly and efficiently. Paddocks range from quarter acre to 160 acres in size, to best benefit the individual needs of the horses. All of these paddocks are connected by a complex lane way system for optimum safety. These paddocks are segregated by state of the art PVC fencing, supported by graphite posts, and are the ultimate in horse safe technology, specifically designed to minimise and in some cases completely eradicate injury to horses from fence related mishaps. Each of the main paddocks have individual holding yards, which enable our staff, farriers and vets to examine and work on the horses with safety and comfort for both the person and the animal. There are both natural and manmade shelters in the paddocks and a complete watering infrastructure system to all troughs fed via natural creek water backed up by bore water pumped from an aquifer some 160m below the property. The property has developed numerous new facilities since the property's establishment including an outstanding 45 x 15 m stable complex comprising 15 boxes, wash bay and track room, a 10 horse walker and round yard and a self-contained foal watch facility.
