Marly Industries L.I. and its predecessors have been in the masonry industry for over 50 years. Our managers and production team have significant years of experience in the masonry and building materials industry. We are one of the few remaining block manufacturers on Long Island. Centrally located on Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst with our main fa... cility in Brooklyn, we have easy access to both Nassau and Suffolk counties and the five boroughs of New York City. Our prime locations, and our large fleet of trucks (see Logistics), enable us to offer very competitive pricing and ultra-quick turnaround times. We only utilize high quality cement and raw materials to manufacture our concrete masonry units ("CMU"). All of our CMUs are tested under ASTM C140 guidelines. These units meet and exceed the absorption and compressive strength requirement of ASTM C90. All of CMUs also meet fire rating standards. Our CMUs have an average rating of 3,000 psi compressive strength. However, we have the capability to manufacture CMUs with higher compressive strength (psi) on request. Lastly, we have made many significant capital improvements to our manufacturing plant. We have built an all new production line which triples our CMU capacity with complete automated quality controls. The end result in a much improved product. The new line uses significantly less electricity than the original plant. This new fully automated plant also provides tremendous safety upgrades from the original plant.
