Born in Arkansas, raised in New Mexico and living in California for the last fifteen years, Markham brings a diverse range of experience in the hospitality industryfrom dive bars to Michelin Chef driven restaurants and hotels. Starting at Laguna Beachs Surf & Sand Resort and then at the trendsetting Standard hotel in West Hollywood. Later, Cameron... worked alongside celebrity Chef Mark Peel at The highly rated Tar Pit before joining Dominicks in West Hollywood to learn operations from celebrity Chef Brandon Boudet and restauranteur Warner Ebbink. It was while Cameron was at Dominicks that he opened his first self owned concept C plus, an artisan third wave craft coffee shop with a punk rock aesthetic in the outskirts of Los Angeles. Building the business including full construction himself by hand along with his business partner Charlie Bird. Cameron was then named General Manager at Farmshop, the highly acclaimed restaurant/marketplace in Brentwood from Chef Thomas Keller alums Chef Jeff Cerciello and Michel Darmon. At this buzzworthy establishment, Markham traveled between the Brentwood and Marin County locations to oversee operations for both restaurants, the artisan market, and the commissary and was named a California Wine Pro by Los Angeles Magazine. Soon after Cameron became the General Manager at Venices Salt Air, the Abott Kinney darling while beginning his foray into fixes and operations development. It was at Salt Air that he met then Restaurant Manager Elizabeth Blankstein, who he later approached to be part of a new opening for a developing Woodland Hills restaurant he was working on. As Director of Operations Cameron built and developed all facets of the business from concept to creation with Elizabeth. It was during this time that Cameron and Elizabeth fell in love.
