Mark was offered an apprenticeship with Lightowlers, who were, at the time, one of the biggest and most prestigious firms with a fantastic reputation for quality. Mark had the benefit of building on his college education with practical skills, working at Lightowlers for 5 years with some of the best tradesmen in the industry. Mark achieved excellen... t results at college; passing all his examinations and in the process gaining 5 distinctions, he also received a Diploma from the Lord Mayor of Hull for outstanding work in his final year. After gaining his Advanced Craft certificate in decorating Mark attended Leeds College for the Construction Industry Training Board skills test in which he scored a 100% score, an achievement that he is still proud of today! Mark spent a year working in London, during this time he decided he wanted to set up his own company, this he did in 1991, he quickly built up a reputation for quality; gaining domestic and commercial clients, many of which he still works for today. Mark is now based in Melton a small village 8 miles west of Hull. Over the last 22 years he has worked for prestigious companies and in some of the finest homes in Hull & East Yorkshire. Job satisfaction is Mark's driving ambition, each decorating project is unique and he loves giving the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction.
