Marion Die & Fixture started with 6 employees in February 1977 as Marion Die & Fixture Builders, Inc. in an old blacksmith shop in downtown Marion. Product was manufactured for industries such as industrial lawn care, agriculture, heating/air and outdoor Products as well as insulated pans. In January 1987, MDF moved to their current facility locate... d at 421 W. Main and acquired a second facility located at 827 N. Roosevelt in May 1991. After working together for over 10 years, MDF became a part of the Bradbury Group of companies in January 1999. MDF manufactures Punch, Emboss, Progressive, Draw, Perforated, Louver, and Cutoff dies. Industries served are Appliance, Automotive, Garage Door, Lighting, HVAC, Furniture and Metal Building. MDF also assumed production of some of the American Machine & Roll form line of products previously produced in Salem, Oregon. At P2, MDF manufactures Hydraulic Power Units for Bradbury. The majority of product manufactured at MDF is sold to Bradbury and Metform. MDF has produced dies to manufacture numerous pizza pans for a well know pizza food chain. MDF currently employs 32 full time employees in their 27,000 square foot facilities.
