MAPPCOR employs professional staff to serve the electric power industry with transmission planning and operations. Our employees have extensive experience in transmission operations, generation reserve sharing pool operations, Reliability Coordination, energy scheduling/tagging, open-access transmission tariff administration, OASIS operations, tran... smission planning, powerflow/stability analysis, and technical project management for transmission study initiatives. MAPPCOR has extensive experience in NERC and Regional Entity reliability standards and compliance. We represent the Mid-Continent Area Power Pool (MAPP) organization as the NERC-registered Regional Planning Authority for the MAPP Region as well as other inter-regional coordination venues. MAPPCOR administers the MAPP Restated Agreement, a contract that governs MAPP. Incorporated in June 1990, MAPPCOR, a not-for-profit cooperative organization, to provide transmission and reliability services to MAPP members and industry participants. Prior to incorporation, MAPP was staffed with a MAPP Member, dating back to the 1960s. MAPPCOR staff recognizes and are required to adhere to open access regulatory requirements and FERC Standards of Conduct. MAPPCOR employees annually sign a MAPPCOR Standards of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
