About Maple Valley Sugarworks

The Reynolds Family began making maple syrup in 1929. Luman and Zelda Reynolds bought the family farm in 1929. Linwood "Bud" was just 9 months old when he moved to Westford, Vermont. He and his wife Theresa, married for 67 years, bought the farm in 1972. Larry, the youngest of five, and his wife Julie bought the farm in 1986 and carried on the tradition into the 3rd generation. Larry started boiling when he was just 13 and remembers spending many long nights boiling with his dad and grandfather. The farm has gone through many transitions over the years from gathering with a team of horses and buckets on the trees to the recent pipeline system with natural vacuum. With the increase of our production and for marketing to a larger audience we changed our name to "Maple Valley Sugarworks at The Reynolds Farm." At Maple Valley Sugarworks our aim is to honor our customers with the finest Vermont maple syrup available. With our newly remodeled sugar house we offer free tours and samples. It iRead more
