About Maoneng Group
Maoneng is an Australian developer, owner and operator of renewable power generation assets. With a development pipeline of over 1 GW of solar farms within Australia, Maoneng sells energy and large-scale generation certificates to Australian businesses and governments through a combination of medium and long-term contracts. Maoneng commissioned a 13MW solar farm developed under the ACT Government's Reverse Solar Auction scheme in November 2016 and is currently leading the development of Sunraysia 255MWp Solar Farm. Set to be Australia's largest single-phase solar farm construction, the project is scheduled for completion in December 2019. Maoneng reached financial close on this project in October 2018, securing equity investment from publicly listed infrastructure fund, John Laing plc, and debt financing from 5 international banks, namely, ING, Mizuho, Nord LB, NAB and Bank of China.
