Mangatainoka School

Mangatainoka School is a small rural school situated between Woodville and Pahiatua in the Tararua District. We are a full primary school and have three classrooms from Year 0 to Year 8. Our school was established in 1889 and has a proud history in our community. The school is in a quiet, well maintained rural setting and we are lucky to still have... our own swimming pool. Our vision is to provide a climate and culture where students will develop the skills and capabilities to enable them to live full and satisfying lives while achieving personal excellence. We encourage our students to value integrity, honesty, fairness and respect. Mangatainoka School is a member of the Tararua Community of Learning. We work with the other schools in our cluster to ensure that all of our students have the best possible learning opportunities and outcomes.
