Manasty Packing

Manasty Packing Limited was established in April 2007 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sweet Ideas Limited who are a family owned business based in Peterborough. Sweet Ideas have provided confectionery and snacking lines to our customers for over 22 years. Manasty Packing was formed to undertake solely all the pre packing requirements of Sweet I... deas. This was a very successful arrangement and when both companies moved to purpose built premises in January 2008, we had the capacity to expand our operation and seek outside packing contracts. We now pack for independent wholesalers and high street retailers as well as Sweet Ideas. Most of our productions are own label concepts and we have successfully delivered many new products to the market place from cereals and granola to confectionery and dried fruit. We have a professional in house design team that can take your initial ideas to amazing designs and in turn, your product's onto the shelves of the retailer ! We acquired in December 2011 BRC Grade A accreditation for Version 5 and this December we have been awarded BRC Grade A accreditation for Version 6. The BRC Global Standard is the benchmark worldwide for food safety management. BRC Global Standards "is a leading global safety and quality certified programme recognised throughout the world by over 17000 suppliers in 90 countries through a network of over 80 accredited and BRC recognised Certification Bodies. The BRC Global Standards are widely used by suppliers and retailers. They facilitate standardization of quality, safety, operational criteria and manufacturers fulfilment of legal obligations. They also provide protection for the consumer". We are very proud to have achieved the BRC highest accreditation. Own label is a growing and important part of a Company's corporate image and we are able to offer a full package, ie label and film design, packing of the product and distribution.
