The difference was when I started taking in what my Counsellor was saying to me, and then I started changing my ways and doing better for myself. Gave us enough information for us to decide the next step and help to identify the issues I have and to help set goals that will help me the future. Made me think a lot more. Understanding the choices I n... eed to make for myself and my babies. A huge difference, I feel more able with the tools and skills to be a better parent for my child. After receiving services, I came out of my depression. It fills me with positive attitude and I became more confident. Yes, I feel the program has been successful to help me quit drugs and alcohol. My main focus will be utilising the tools Ive learnt out in the community We see Te Arawa tikanga, the original kaupapa of Te Rp O Te Ora, the vision of our founders, and guiding documents such as the Treaty of Waitangi, as relevant to our work and strategic direction.
