About Malama Composites
Malama Composites develops and manufacturers rigid urethane foams made from sustainable resources. These core materials enable manufacturers to produce final products that are strong, light weight, non-toxic, and far more easily recycled than petroleum-based foams. Pacific BioFoam is a 2-pound density, 2-part pour foam that uses water as its sole blowing agent, and is free of HCFC's or pentane. Malama also manufactures Studio BioFoam®, a USDA Certified BioBased rigid sculpting foam, and AinaCore, a Class A fire rated PIR foam for structural insulation. Malama is the recipient of the PortTech Los Angeles 2014 Award for Most Innovative Technology and the 2013 American Composites Manufacturing Association Award for Composites Excellence in Innovation.
