Maju Engineering was established in August 1993 initially to serve the local based industries in Labuan. It started with a modest engineering fabrication workshop and eventually become a specialized engineering set-up catering for the engineering demand from offshore companies operating in the Federal Territory of Labuan as the island was commissio... ned as Borneo. Maju Engineerings main activities covered manufacturing component parts of a variety of machineries and equipment as well as structural steel fabrication. Due to the increasing demand in customers specifications and requirements, and going beyond the normal machining and fabrication works, Maju Engineerings core business gradually moves toward engineering-based activities. With the establishment of the Federal Territory of Labuan as the regions Offshore Support Hub for Deepwater Oil & Gas activities, Maju Universal Engineering Sdn Bhd (MUESB) was formed and incorporated in November 2005, to provide a more focused and efficient services mainly to the Oil & Gas Industries. In its endeavor to cater for the offshore and onshore activities and complying with the industrial standards, MUESB strived and qualified to become a PETRONAS-licensed contractor. In addition, MUESB is also registered with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia (DOSH) to carry out Boiler and Pressure Vessel Repair and Servicing as well as Pressure Piping fabrication. Of recent, MUESB has been qualified to perform Thermal Spray Aluminum (TSA) Coating, 2-Coat & 3-Coat Painting System for FMC Technologies and Shell Company.
