Their founder, Kim Carr, is a community theater gal who - after having kids - still wanted to sing with like-minded people but found little free time to do so. "The intense up and down time commitments of putting on shows was no longer tenable. I looked around for a chorus that felt like the right fit - fun songs, relaxed expectations - and I was b... affled when I couldn't find it around here! So I decided to make my own thing," she explains. She created a Meetup group online and described it as a group for anyone who had an interest in singing together with a focus on upbeat music from Broadway, Hollywood and the radio. There was a great response and they began meeting on Wednesday nights. "It started small but when Ted Latham volunteered to direct us, things really took off and we grew pretty quickly. They are now a group of 75 - with more than a hundred other singers interested and waiting to join as soon as a few more minutes clear in their weekly schedules.
