Mahr Group

The Mahr Group is a family-owned business with Mr. Arshad Mahr being the chairman of the company. The family has long been in the export business dealing mainly with the export of food items, gloves and leather garments. In its nascent stages - around 1965 - the Mahr Group was involved in the export of food products and spices with the United Kingd... om as the principal market. The company had its first major breakthrough with the launch of its very own brand of food and condiments in the UK. This burgeoned into the establishment of its own distribution channel within that country. In 1985, the company decided to diversify into the sports equipment manufacturing industry paying special attention to the production of gloves. This business turned out to be quite a success for Mahr after which the corporation began working in conjunction with top sports brands. Around 1990, the company further branched out into the leather garments manufacturing business and was compelled to limit its other businesses due to the tremendous growth and demand it faced in the garments sector.
