Magus Hermes® was founded to be the luxury standard for black skincare products, with in depth scientific research as its foundation. Unfortunately, the truth is that the vast majority of skincare products made available to black and ethnic people are of low quality, and there has been a need for a company, that would focus on delivering high quali... ty skincare products that would deal with the skincare anxieties of black and ethnic people. After the founders saw reports of people suffering skin burns and later kidney failure as a result of using bad skin lightening cream, from a local Asian beauty store, that contained high levels of mercury and steroids, they were determined to investigate what was available for black women's skincare needs and the quality that was available to them, outside of simple Vaseline and cocoa butter, the only two products it seems that are staples in black skincare. Teaming with researchers and dermatologists, Dr Seth Westmore, and Dr Uriel Steinberg, the founders travelled to the United States, Canada, France, South Africa and the United Kingdom, to test the quality of black skincare products. The results, generally, were not good at all, and seeing the need for a high quality black skincare brand, Magus Hermes® was created with an approach that focusses on using high quality natural plant extracts, minerals and enzymes, for Made-To-Order products, and most importantly making skincare products that are safe for black and ethnic skintypes. To make our products more effective for your skin, pure plant ingredients from rainforests in Costa Rica, Brazil, Cameroon, Indonesia, Bolivia, Thailand, and Ecuador, are harvested to create a skincare line , that is unique in quality and effectiveness.
