Having worked in the retail sector for over a decade, our expertise is vast and spans across all beauty sectors including cosmetics, fragrance, skincare and haircare. A note from our founder, Gemma Harling I have a massive passion for all things Beauty! I love to discover new brands, meeting the people and hearing the stories behind them. I founded... Lumi from a desire to help brand owners and entrepreneurs achieve their ambitions and grow their business into the empire of their dreams. As a former retail buyer, I am hugely results driven and gain pleasure in helping my clients reach the commercial success they deserve. Prior to Lumi Consultancy, I was the Senior Buyer for one of the UKs largest Beauty retailers, working across Cosmetics & Fragrance. It was a fantastic job, working with some of the most globally recognised brands, planning their annual strategies and creating impactful in-store and online animations for their new launches. I was fortunate enough to travel a lot, and got to test all of the latest products before they hit the market. But the part which excited me most was working with fresh, up-and-coming brands. The creatives, the challengers, the innovators. With this in mind, I decided to step off the corporate ladder, in favour of a more fulfilling role setting up this business to help you lovely lot! Gemma is one of the sweetest individuals I have met in the industry. I feel fortunate that I have had the pleasure of working with her. Her passion for her work is infectious, and her knowledge of the beauty category is expansive. She has a strong work ethic, and brings an incredible authenticity in building lasting relationships.
