It is a spin-off of B&L Associates, Ltd. which was founded by David F. Lucas and a colleague in February of 1985. B&L Associates, Ltd. provided similar services as well as consulting for government contractors. David F. Lucas is the managing partner. He is a results-oriented individual with over thirty years of combined experience in auditing, accounting, and investigation. He has also given numerous presentations on forensic accounting, financial investigations, and fraud-related topics. In addition, David F. Lucas has twenty-two years of law enforcement as an investigator for the Department of Defense and 2 years as a North Providence police officer. During his career, David F. Lucas has provided forensic accounting services to several prominent law and accounting firms, addressing both civil and criminal matters. He has participated in insurance investigations and investigations involving the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
