LPTIs first aim is to provide services that are bilingual and biculturally informed. We offer our services in a collaborative context with a primary goal of directing our community toward self sufficiency and improved health. Our services are geared to enhance the skill sets of providers who offer individual, couples, family, and group serives to m... embers of our community. Some of the areas we address include trauma, domestic violence, parenting, addiction, anger management, gambling and other impulse issues and interpersonal skills enhancement. LPTI recognizes that there is an existing spectrum of services to the Latino community in the SF Bay Area and that there are unmet needs within that spectrum of services due to economic hardships, lack of cultural information and other social issues.
