Who is Low Country ENT
At Low Country ENT we recognize that you have a choice in the Charleston area when it comes to selecting an ear, nose and throat specialist (known as an otolaryngologist), or in purchasing a hearing aid. That's why we want you to be as relaxed and informed as possible about our practice; ear, nose and throat related health issues; and treatment options. We've created this information-rich website to give you 24/7 access to an array of the most common ear, nose and throat topics. The more you know, the more comfortable we hope you and your family will be with our otolaryngology practice. Low Country ENT is a relatively small, friendly, family oriented practice. We think this offers a refreshing alternative to the less personalized experience in a large corporate or academic practice. The doctor who evaluates you in the office should be the same one who sees you in follow up or takes care of you in the hospital if that becomes necessary. We strive to remain academically current, with the goal to continue providing state-of-the-art medical, surgical and audiologic care. A board certified specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose and throat disorders in children and adults, Dr. Russell Kitch has been seeing patients in the Charleston area for over 20 years. Dr. Kitch has advanced training and board certification in sleep medicine, and has special interests in vertigo, sudden hearing loss, sinusitis, and sleep apnea. Our board certified audiologist, Dr. Julie Malkahas been with the practice since 2004. In that time she has acquired many satisfied customers who have been relieved of benign positional vertigo, or have improved their hearing thanks to new hearing aids. We are pleased to introduce two new physicians to our staff: Dr. Jeffrey Neal began seeing patients in November 2013 and Dr. Jennifer Grady began seeing patients in September of 2014.
