The minimalistic, clean design of the restaurant was created by the twin multi-talented designers Fahad Al-Ruwaili and Abdullah Al-Ali. Everything from the uniforms, designed by fashion designer Ahmed Al-Mal and executed by Bekita Ahmed (both Virginia Commonwealth University Alumna's), to the artistic talents of Essa Al-Jamali's chalk board illustr... ations, to the photographer and graphic designer Taleb Al-Marri who worked hard enough to come up with some ideal branding ideas, Low Calories has created a welcoming and relaxed environment to attract interest in a healthy lifestyle. The combination of menu and interior design fashions a beautiful presentation of food and an impeccable ambience for food fanatics to enjoy healthy dishes. From the kitchen to the table, Low Calories promises quality presentation and flavor. Our kitchen strictly prohibits flour, white sugar, and full fat products, while serving home made condiments, entrees, and desserts that don't have the dull taste of traditional healthy dishes. Through our restaurant's concept, Low Calories proves that Qatari youth can create innovative and successful ideas with hard work and dedication. Low Calories seeks to break the imported food franchise notion and pursue global franchising in order to create a health movement on a global scale right here from our beloved country of Qatar.
