Love, Scherle & Bauer has been a fixture on the Pittsburgh accounting landscape for 75 years. The firm's offices have been in The Grant Building since 1939, a cornerstone of the Pittsburgh financial and legal community. Originally founded by Harold Hersperger, John Love joined the firm in 1948. By 1959, it had grown into Love, Wilson & Company. Tho... mas Love and Joseph Scherle joined the firm in 1966. Carl Bauer joined the firm in 1970. By 1988, the firm had grown into Love, Scherle & Bauer. Upon incorporation in 1996, the firm became "A Professional Corporation", legally and literally.
