Louis W. Bray Construction Limited was established in 1972 by Louis Bray and his wife June as a Heavy Civil Contractor. Louis started his career on a survey crew, worked his way up to supervisor working on such notable projects as Highway 401 in Eastern Ontario and the Highway 417 the Queensway in Ottawa while working for the Department of Highways... of Ontario (DHO). One of Louis earlier projects was the Courthouse Square, in Brockville. Louis was recognized as an industry leader due to his integrity, knowledge, experience and strong work ethic. Today the company is led by Michael Bray P.Eng. who after graduating from Civil Engineering became a full time employee and with his father's guidance worked his way up from Foreman to Vice-President. The firm has been under Michael's direction as President since Louis' passing in 1990 and has continued to grow and diversify. While still substantially involved in Heavy Civil Contracting, the firm has the technical ability to provide a complete range of General Contracting services. With offices in Ottawa and St. Andrews West the firm is well positioned to accommodate their continued growth and the geographic need of their clients.
