About Lorinda's Beads
Welcome to our online home. Were Michael and Lorinda! Weve been having great fun making glass beads, and people keep asking us for a way to see our beads on the Web, so here it iswell almost. I should be posting more of the site once or twice a week. Until I get our bead and jewelry galleries up, you can see some of our work at contemporaryglassintexas . We handcraft our lampwork beads with torches using propane and oxygen. Then we anneal then to eliminate stress (sort of like letting them enjoy a sauna bath at just under 1000 degrees). Many of our beads contain silver or copper as well as glass. Browse our bead gallery to find beads for your next beading project! Or, if youre short on time, we design jewelry that features our beads. You'll find pictures of some of our finished work in our jewelry gallery.
