Lord & Son Construction is a company steeped in family values dating back to 1975. Two partners - husband and wife - started a small construction firm nearly a half-century ago that has thrived through a hard-earned reputation for quality and dedication to excellence. Lord & Son Constructionwas founded in 1975 by Leven D. and Gail Lord in Fort Walt... on Beach, Florida. After completing his Building Construction degree at the University of Florida in 1962, Leven went on to further his construction management skills through employment with various construction firms for several years. Leven moved to Fort Walton Beach and started his own commercial construction company, founded on the principles of quality construction at a fair price. They worked side by side to start the company, with Gail managing the company and Leven managing the company's projects in the field. Their son, Leven Drew "Spike" Lord was raised and brought up within the company.
