Long Jetty Pharmacy

Long Jetty Pharmacy (LJP) has been a mainstay of the Long Jetty Area for almost 35 years, specialising in the provision of pharmacy services to aged care facilities, group homes and the aged and disabled in the community. We are located in the north end of the central coast, and service facilities from the far south of the Central Coast up the lowe... r Hunter Valley and Newcastle areas. Long Jetty Pharmacy is a fully accredited pharmacy and is owned and operated by pharmacist Dennis Fardy (B.Pharm MPS) and supported by highly trained, competent and friendly staff dedicated to providing a superior pharmacy service. Dennis joined the partnership at LJP in July 1991, previously managing the companys Berkeley Vale store. He earned his pharmacy degree in Adelaide, and later practised pharmacy at Mildura. Dennis enjoys building and maintaining strong relationships with Aged Care Facility management and staff to ensure positive health outcomes for residents, and equally enjoys spending time with individual community customers. Dennis was a committee member of the Aged Care GP panels initiative Division of General Practice, which aims to provide and develop a continuous positive system for all involved in Aged Care. Dennis Fardy was also an active committee member of East Lakes Regional Medication Advisory Committee Medication Management GP Access Aged Care 2007, including extensive involvement in the construction of Best Practice Guidelines for the provision of Dose Administration Aids by Community pharmacists to Residential Aged Care Facilities in the Hunter urban Division of General Practice.
