London Hospitals

The London Hospitals and its regional partners have currently implemented over 50 clinical-care improvement initiatives. Our partner organizations for these regional initiatives are committed to working together and have created a strong momentum to enhance the delivery of health-care services across Southwestern Ontario. Local Health Integration N... etworks (LHINs) are decision-making bodies at the community level which focus on local community needs, and improving health results for patients in every part of the province. LHINs are responsible for funding a wide range of health service providers and for managing the majority of service agreements with these providers. The government's role is to provide stewardship of Ontario's health system, setting direction, strategic policy and system standards and delivering provincial programs and services. London is part of the South West LHIN which is responsible for the planning, integration and funding of nearly 200 health service providers including hospitals, long-term care homes, mental health and addictions agencies, community support services, community health centres, and the South West Community Care Access Centre.
