Living Opportunities Management Company was founded in 1975 by Pastor Leroy Doty in order to provide the highest quality affordable housing for his elderly and disabled low-income parishioners. Initially specializing in affordable housing for the elderly, the company has experience managing family units, SROs, and projects for persons with disabili... ties. The company currently manage projects with a variety of funding subsidies including HUD insured and direct loans, project and tenant based Section 8, LIHTC, CHFA, and tax-exempt bonds. The company's clients include non-profit and for-profit corporations, limited partnerships and government entities. LOMCO currently manages 13 affordable housing properties for elderly and physically challenged residents. Approximately 2,171 apartment units provide safe, comfortable housing and many needed services to approximately 2,600 individuals living on limited incomes. At each of the company's properties, the company is committed to providing services and programs that not only meet residents the physical, social and psychological needs but also promote a healthy, secure, satisfying and useful lifestyle.
