About Loman Control Systems
Loman Control Systems, Inc. provides control systems integration solutions to end-user manufacturers, contractors, OEMs, and engineering firms throughout Central PA and beyond. Loman found its beginnings at the Alumax Aluminum Plant, where Robert (Bob) Lowe and Gerald (Jerry) Forman met and worked. The two decided they needed to take on another challenge-this challenge became Loman Control Systems. Initially, Bob and Jerry completed several PLC programming projects, working nights and weekends in Bob's basement. In addition to programming, they began planning the structure and procedures for their new company. After a few years, they decided they would have to either give Loman their full-time effort or abandon their company. Bob and Jerry decided to take a risk, and in August of 1991, Loman Control Systems, Inc. became their full-time project.
