Therefore, I suggest the following criteria for your logo: It should be simple and easy to read. Too much detail can be difficult for people to see and difficult to print, especially at small sizes. That doesn't mean that it can't be beautiful or unique, but the best logos will be effective in their simplicity. It should work well in full color, in all-white, and in all-black. You want a logo that will be just as effective without color as it is with color. It should be vector based and resolution-independent. Vector-based artwork recalculates the number of pixels needed for maintaining crisp resolution at any scale. JPEG and PNG artwork files, although I will provide them, will become pixelated at larger sizes. That's why I'll build and provide your logos in the vector-based .AI and .SVG formats as well. It should be uniquely designed. Sure, you could find a bit of clip art online and slap your name on it, but only a specially-designed logo can effectively incorporate your name and what you do.
