Founded in 1983, Logmatix Labels & Tags began as a barcode service bureau working primarily with customers servicing the Department of Defense. Our founder developed significant expertise in automated identification, material handling and the intricacies of barcode protocols. In the late 1980's Logmatix Labels & Tags expanded operations to include... working with customers servicing other sectors with their barcode applications. At the same time Logmatix Labels & Tags began manufacturing labels of various sizes and materials for the service bureau as well as for our customers. The next step in the Logmatix Labels & Tags evolution was to add a three color press which began our expansion into multi color labels. With all of these additions to our capabilities customer service and sales were strengthened by adding experienced people to be expert advisors to our growing customer base. In early 1995 our founder forged an alliance with a new partner. Their goal was to expand company sales , to reinforce continuous quality improvement and to ensure ongoing excellent customer service. Technology was embraced and the enterprise systems now included job estimating, manufacturing control, accounting processes, internet presence and customer information tightly integrated to control costs and improve customer service. In 2008, Logmatix Labels & Tags again expanded capabilities by adding a new 17 inch, 8 color press with the option to print variable data on press in line. Additionally a digital press was added to our offering to provide a quality label at a competitive price for short runs, multiple copies of small runs or marketing opportunities. Our digital finishing system can laminate and die cut in any shape. Today, a large flexographic press room, in-house artwork and graphic design, negative and plate making abilities allow Logmatix Labels & Tags to provide top quality multicolor (up to 8 colors and UV) and process printed labels and tags to our customers.
