Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Localised is a social enterprise working within Aotearoa's emerging Circular Economy. We operate community-led resource recovery centres either directly or through joint-venture equal partnerships with local organisations. We have sites in Wellsford, Warkworth, Wairau Valley, Glen Innes, Onehunga, and are due to open... another in Paraparaumu late 2023. While the community organisations we partner with to establish sites or grow existing operations are able to bring enthusiasm, people and local knowledge about what is needed, we can contribute experience, systems and access to capital. Our focus is twofold; growing NZ's community-led resource recovery network, and, returning a profit to our sole shareholder, the Zero Waste Network. The Zero Waste Network is a membership organisation with over 120 members working in the resource recovery sector throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
