It is an independently owned practice in a beautiful 5000 sq.ft. facility. We have individual rooms for patient treatment as well as a fully equipped gym with cardiovascular, strength training equipment and a full Pilates studio. We specialize in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation and work conditioning. Our comprehensive treatment program is desi... gned specifically to the patient's needs and goals. We pride ourselves on personalized professional care, utilizing highly trained physical therapists, a broad range of exercise equipment and therapeutic modalities. Our patients are treated by the same therapist each visit to enable us to better help the patients help themselves through home exercises, education on posture, body mechanics, and injury prevention. We emphasize patient involvement; the ultimate goal being lasting relief with maximized physical potential. Angelika, Co-owner of Livermore Physical Therapy, is a German trained physical therapist who received her physical therapy degree from Freie University, West Berlin in 1978. Her background was broadened through diverse employment settings and extensive postgraduate education both in Europe and in the U.S., including the 6 month Kaiser Vallejo Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) Program. Angelika has specialized in orthopedic physical therapy utilizing PNF and various manual therapy approaches. She is a certified Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation and Nordic Walking instructor having taught several courses. Angelika specializes in orthopedic and spinal rehabilitation. Peter, the other Co-owner, completed his undergraduate studies at Santa Clara University in 1979, and in 1983 received a Masters degree in Physical Therapy at USC. As well as being a physical therapist he is also a NATA certified athletic trainer.
