We are one of Littleovers leading childcare providers, caring for children from the age of six months to five years. At Little Scholars Nursery, we understand that your childs safety and development are of paramount importance, not only to you but us also. Our aim is to provide your child with all the necessary skills required to help him/her striv... e in both personal and academic situations. The Nursery aims to provide a happy, caring and secure environment. We believe that a childs first experience of school should be both stimulating and exciting.Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage which develops an engaging, challenging and stimulating learning experience for our young learners. The founders of Little Scholars Nursery endeavoured to set up a nursery with a unique learning programme and a pre-school that understands the importance of providing the highest quality childcare and education. The long established nursery has been under the same management for over 18 years with repetitive success across the years. I have been working in Childcare since 1999 when I started at Little Scholars as a newly qualified nursery nurse. Over the years I have gained experience of the different age groups within the nursery and then gradually took on more senior positions and responsibilities within the nursery before becoming the manager of a Good graded nursery, my ambition is to further improve it to become an 'Outstanding' rated nursery. I am committed to quality childcare and I keep myself updated on the latest trends in early years education by reading book, articles, forums and attending various courses. I am supporting my team to then implement these ideas. At home, I have a young daughter and two teenage step children who keep me very busy. At the weekends, we enjoy visiting the cinema, going to the park, cooking and baking and as national trust members, we enjoy exploring different places as a family.Read More
