In November of 2010, Lions Gate Security Solutions, Inc. was founded by Joseph H. Hodges, Jr. and Calvin D. Jones. Hodges and Jones were retired at the time, after over 20 years with the Omaha Police Department. In their years with the police department, they gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in all facets of law enforcement. Hodges and Jones were adjunct criminal justice instructors at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Metro Community College, respectively. As police officers, Hodgess and Joness strengths included investigating gang crimes, criminal investigations, crime prevention, and academy training. As owners of a security company, Hodges and Jones drew upon their military and law enforcement experience to focus on professionalism, visibility, education, and training in order to bring law enforcement and military training standards to the corporate arena.
