About Links
The Charleston-Institute (WV) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is part of an international, not-for-profit organization established in 1946, comprising over 17,000 professional women of African descent across 299 chapters. This organization is dedicated to enriching and sustaining the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other individuals of African ancestry. The chapter focuses on community transformation through five program facets: Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services. Members contribute more than 1 million hours of community service annually, strengthening their communities and enhancing the nation.Explore more
