Lingkar Komunitas Sawit (LINKS) is a social & developmental NGO established in Bogor (Indonesia) on July 17, 2010. LINKS works to support multi stakeholder efforts to create equal partnership in social sustainability management in oil palm sector in Indonesia. This equal partnership is pursued through: LINKS role as a partner in encouraging the imp... lementation of good practices of social sustainable management based on the principles of sustainability. LINKS role as partners in building communication and dialogue for social engagement with the community and in facilitating to resolve social conflicts. LINKS role as partners to increase the capacity of community, plantation staff and management so that they have a good understanding to sustainability standards. Bakti sustainability is a service program where management and staff of LINKS will work without payment to train the independent smallholder group for carry out the organization visioning, Social Impact Assessment (SIA) and FPIC fulfillment. LINKS is a member of RSPO, member of FORMISBI and HCV RIWG. LINKS also supported by round of oil palm plantation practitioners, and several young innovative researchers.
