Lindenlea

The Lindenlea Community Association is a volunteer organization of all the residents within the Lindenlea boundary. Your residence in the neighbourhood boundary is your membership in the LCA. The LCA has an active and involved Board of Directors. The board meets on the second Thursday of every month at 8:15PM to discuss the issues of the community,... (eg. the Kettle Island bridge issue, the Ash Borer infestation) and listen to the concerns of the community. The LCA is a volunteer organization and we welcome you to come to a meeting to see what we are all about. You may also attend our Annual General Meeting held each fall when new directors are elected and a summary of the past year is presented. Lindenlea is well-situated near seven schools and a host of stores and restaurants. The local "high street" is Beechwood Avenue and you will find a full range of shops and services along the street between the Vanier Parkway and Acacia. Due to a horrific fire in March 2011, we lost 10 businesses, but luckily, some were able to relocate nearby. Our hardware store is gone, so you will have to travel to Canadian Tire or Home Depot by car.
