In 1996, the Istanbul Sargazi Facilities were expanded with Akyaz Dyeing and Finishing premises turning the establishment into an integrated facility; one of the leading lace, jersey fabric, weaving, tulle curtain, tergal and... thread manufacturers of Turkey. In 2006, the Istanbul-based manufacturing facilities were moved to Akyaz gathering the premises under a single center. With its 85000 m2 closed space and nearly 550 employees today, Aydn Örme Sanayi ve Ticaret A.. has an output of 2500 tones thread, 280 tones jacquardtronic and textronic lace, 1200 tones jersey fabric, 600 tones weaving fabric and 830 tones warp knitting annually; making it one of the largest and the leading textile manufacturing facilities of Turkey as well as Europe. While offering services in Underwear and Outerwear industries under the brand name of Lila, Aydn Örme also offers services in home textile sector with Marie Claire, Pierre Cardin, Perfiore and Lila brands. Aydn Örme Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. exports 40 % of its fabrication to over 30 different countries including England, France, Spain, Italy, East Europe, Russia, North and South America. The company reaches its customers through agencies, wholesalers and its own offices in more than 20 countries.
