Lighthouse Club nights are a time where our mission comes alive as our group gathers as friends to participate in the various activities planned to create an evening of fun for our participants and our volunteers. Every month has a theme which all Club activities are centered around, including a... spiritual based message. Club nights include time for everyone to get caught up and socialize, opportunities to participate in planned activities which includes games and crafts, and there is always time for the group to gather together allowing the participants to share what is on their hearts and what they are learning. Variety it important for our participants! So, we plan various activities throughout the year to engage all participants and give them fun experiences. Some Club nights are tailored to more relaxing and lower key, yet competitive and exciting evening as we enjoy a night of Bingo where everyone is a winner! Other Club nights include outings into our local communities. On a community outing we might venture to the movies or bowling, dining at local restaurants and coffee shops, or making smores on the beach and BBQs at the local park. No matter where Lighthouse might venture to we always focus on the quality time spent together and the bonds we create! Then our dance night is the place to be! Our participants come full of energy and ready to show off their moves. Their energy is contagious and there is not one person left standing still by the end of the night! Many of the dances coincide with a holiday which brings even more life to the party as our participants get dressed up for our Valentines dance and then show off their best costumes at our Halloween dance.
