This is a place where lifetime learning begins. We believe that it is important for children to receive a quality education and care in their earlier years because it prepares them for a successful adulthood and the ability to make positive changes. Our center offers a hands on approach to learning in which children from six weeks old to 12 years o... f age discover, play, and interact with each other within age appropriate classrooms. We foster creativity and encourage children to think for themselves, make decisions, work towards their own solutions, and express their own ideas and feelings. Our teachers embrace the fact that each child is unique and they treat each child as an individual with needs and interests that are to be respected and supported through developmentally appropriate activities. We differentiate when teaching and set high expectations for our children. Daily, our young children participate in experiences that promote developmental growth. It is essential for young children to feel successful, learn socialization skills and independence, and form a positive self-image. We have tailored our curriculum specifically for children, by teaching it in a fun, family like setting, with nurturing care-giving, and a safe environment. At Lifetime Learners Child Development Center, we believe children should be nurtured and made to feel secure. Then, they will feel comfortable enough to build relationships, explore, play, and learn. Lifetime Learners purpose is to provide a rich learning environment while encouraging positive self-esteem, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and creative growth and development of the child as a whole. We will instill values and foster a love of learning. Our staff welcomes family involvement. With the teamwork of our teachers and parents, our childrens only option is to succeed.
