Manual therapy techniques, including joint mobilisations, soft tissue massage and muscle stretches, form a major part of most of our treatments, especially in the early stages of recovery. We also believe educating patients in self management, prescribing appropriate exercises to assist in the recovery process and attempting to prevent recurrence, if possible, are also very important components in the treatment process in varying degrees in each case. Effective communication between a patient and physiotherapist is an obvious but often over looked or underestimated component to a physiotherapy session.Read More
