Liberty Walk

The LibertyWalk 2008 campaign was founded on two basic principles. The goal is to create public awareness of the social issues regarding our great country and offer a platform of free speech for any and all citizens to voice their opinion to the public. There is a growing concern that noncompliance with the Constitution for the United States of Ame... rica is creating a crisis of legitimacy that threatens freedom and civil rights. The mission of LibertyWalk2008 is to: Educate America's citizens about the importance of civic participation in a democratic society. Instill, in our nation's people, a deeper understanding of the need for social and environmental changes. Remain non-partisan, but create a platform for every citizen to speak and be heard. LibertyWalk2008 was founded by Cody Lunsford, Heather Lunsford, and Mike Purdy in 2007. We have maintained the position that civil liberties must be respected and maintained, even in times of national emergency. If the rights of society's most vulnerable members are denied, everybody's rights are imperiled.
