About Lewis Controls
Lewis Controls was formed in 1971 by Dick Girouard and Bob Lewis. These gentlemen were ahead of their time. Many innovations that are commonplace in sawmills today such as hydraulic linear positioner cylinders, and many elements of modern scanning and optimization technology were integral parts of their early work. From their efforts a company has evolved that is young, vibrant and dedicated to providing innovative technology. We've managed to do this while maintaining the high standards of startup quality and service response that the company's customers have grown to expect and appreciate.
